The Davis Gulch

The Davis Gulch is located in Southern Utah near Lake Powell. Although Davis Gulch is somewhat difficult to get to, many people take the fifty mile drive on the Hole-in-the-Rock Road to the gulch. The Davis Gulch is a canyon that consists of two halves and a narrow upper slot. It has a drainage system made of sandstone which leads to Lake Powell. There is also a huge sandstone bridge located in the Bement Arch. Although the upper slot is difficult to explore, the wider, downstream section is much easier.
