BISON

In 1928, 20 American Bison were transplanted from Montana. Today the population is around 1,000 and it is kept in check by sport hunting.

ORCA

The Orca, also known as the killer whale, is called the killer whale because of its diet. It eats other whales, seals and sea lions.

ENDANGERED SPECIES
According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Alaska has one of the smallest endangered species lists with only 10 members. Some of which include the Humpback, Bowhead, Blue, Fin, North Pacific right, and Sei whales.
